Sunday19th July

Today when I woke up it was raining. I got up and went downstairs to find my little brother looking at a leach he found at Lake Gormire. We thought it looked hungry so my mum fed it some ham, but it didn't touch it. We all sat down and ate some breakfast then it was nearly time to set off on our trip. Luckily it looked like it was getting brighter outside and the rain had stopped. We got changed and got in the car. It was a long journey, but finally we arrived at Dalby Forest, were we met some of our family. We had brought lots of different games to play, cricket, tennis, badminton and a lot more. We parked the car and went to set up our gazebo just in case it rained again! Whilst the adults did the boring stuff me, Hattie and all the boys went on an adventure in the park. By the time we got back it was time for lunch, we were having a BBQ, our uncle was cooking it but I got to have a go! We all really enjoyed it, it was so good. After lunch we all got up and played with the parachute, we played cat and mouse I was the cat and my little cousin Archie was the mouse.... I caught him in seconds! When the grown ups started to get bored they left us to play so me and my older sister Hattie were sliding down the hill on it, it's actually really fun (I know it doesn't sound it but if you tried I think you would enjoy it) I got so hot I ended up tipping a whole bottle of water over my head! We played for hours and sooner or later it was time to go home, we said our goodbyes and we're off. When we arrived back at our house I was asked to walk the dogs.... But walking is boring, so I got out my bike went on that. After about 2 minutes my step dad Will came and joined me. He was showing me some cool tricks. A wheelie, how to do a bunny hop, how to go up a step and cycling with no hands (I will show you how to do these in a post later on). It was really cool. We cycled all the way to this massive pond were Will knowing will said "I would really like to buy a boat to go on there" ....... DREAMER! We did a big loop but by doing this we had to go through loads of nettles! We cycled home, and then really that was it..... Oh yeah and a thought of starting a blog. So here it is. Hope you enjoy.
