D.I.Y rope swing

hello long time no see!
How's school is it a bit boring?

So today I would really like to teach you how to make a rope swing!

Materials list

piece of rope (the length of the branch plus and extra metre)

a stick that will hold you

a tree with a branch off the side of it

a river/lake next to it (This is optional)

Firstly tie the rope to the stick... At the end. (make sure you do it so it is really tight because we don't want you falling off now do we!)Secondly chuck the stick end of the rope over the branch (that's stuck off the side of the tree)... Tie the rope to the stick end of your rope so its nice and tight try it for size and your done basically (if this doesn't work you can adjust the height to suit you)

thank you so much for reading
love you all so much

big bike ride

What's up guys?
today I'm going to tell you about a really fun bike ride
I went on with Hattie and Will (step dad and sister!)

So once we all got ready we hopped  into the car and set off to Sutton bank. It wasn't a long drive, about 15 mins in the car.Once we got there we unloaded our bikes and put on our helmets.
We set off along the cleveland way which takes you across the the North Yorkshire Moors. We headed for Boltby wood which is great
for mountain biking. There was a really thin turn in the track which was down hill. I was going really fast down it and flew over my bike handlebars and face planted into the ground! It didn't feel it .....much actually!
though it was still quite a shock (it would have been a gooden for you've
been framed!)we carried on going it was really fun we got to the top off Sutton bank
the view was insane

this is it you can basically see the whole of North Yorkshire!

After a bit we had lunch and saw these guys

how cool are their horns

About an hour had passed and we had to get off
our bikes because two horses were going past us.
Me being idiotic tripped up and trapped my leg
under a thorn bush and the other one in a weird
position under my bike. The horses were just going to
pass us when she told me to get up because her horse spooks easily
whitch i fine but I just sat there and said
'....umm..im really sorry...I actually can't'
it was so awkward. finally she got over it and
slowly walked her horse past me.
This is what my leg ended up looking like:

It was painful also my leg looks really weird in this picture.

After that it started chucking it down,it was so wet.

my bike is WET

We had to take a short cut because we were getting
drenched. We finally got to Boltby bank I'm sorry
I did get off for this because it is so steep.

Once at the top we headed back to the car....
in the end we did around 30 miles.

Thanks for reading, until next time my lovelys

Surfs up

Howdy partners!
how's your summer holiday been...... done anything nice?
because I went to Cornwall and had surfing lessons I thought why not share some
tips and tricks I learnt.

1. when you see a wave you want to catch make sure when you get on, your feet are just over the edge.

2. next, so as the wave is just about to hit the back of your board
make sure you just keep paddling and paddling.

3. once the wave has hit the back of your board do 3 more power paddles to make sure your definitely on the wave.

4. now were ready to stand up! put your hands on the board and push up (so it looks like you have chicken wings, make sure your hands are next to your ribs)

5.  pull your knees up to your chest making sure your hands never leave the board.

6. slowly place your feet in the middle of the board and still keeping your hands placed on the board to make sure you have balance (remember to stay in the middle of the board so you don't tip!)

7. keep your feet slightly far apart and just ride the wave!

thank you for reading, this is the easiest way to get on your board and ride it hopefully I will do another one of these posts next year. thank you for reading
